When I heard Colin Powell on the radio saying, "We cannot accept this result as legitimate because it does not meet international standards and because there has not been an investigation of the numerous and credible reports of fraud and abuse," and going on to call for a full review of the conduct of the election and the tabulation of election results, it took me a while to remember that he was talking about the recent election in the Ukraine, not the USA.

*nod* I first heard similar comments from Sen. Richard Lugar (R-Indiana), and figured that enough of his constituents must live near the Ohio border and screamed about the irregularities that he spoke out about it. When i found out he was talking about the Ukranian election, i almost started laughing from the black humour of it all.
