Good doctors in Berkeley?

I find myself in need of a new doctor--my GP has retired with a back injury. Can anyone recommend a physician who's intelligent, friendly to alternative medicine, and practicing in Berkeley? Gender doesn't matter; respect for patients, efficient office staff and freedom from arrogance do. Thanks.

We love our doctor, though I'm pretty sure he's not taking new patients. But who knows--the answer is always no until you ask! His name is Andrew Ross, and his office is on Milvia near Dwight. His office staff are OK (much better than when he was part of a larger practice), but since the practice is small (2 docs) there will definitely be times when you can't reach anyone.
